CONSTAN-TINVS AG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right. Rev. BEATA TRA-NQVILLT[AS] / •PTR Globe set on altar inscribed VO/TI / XX; above, three stars. Cf. RIC 368 (for possible prototype). Slightly rough and with a small flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.

From the collection of Dr. L. Ramskold, formed since 1969.

The style of this coin is clearly unofficial, indicating that it is a contemporary 'barbarous' imitation. It resembles RIC 368 (Treveri) but with missing letters in the legends, including VO/TI/XX.
